NH NEWTON — Newton Recreation Commission plans spring events, approves $50 cash box. Chairman Peggy Connors and Vice Chairman Joe Simone led the unanimous vote on the cash box purchase, with commissioners Rick Faulconer, Bob Kysilovsky, and Alecsandra Guide also supporting the measure. Recreation Director Jessica Petruzello coordinated five spring events: a St.
Patrick's Day cookie decorating event (March 14, $20 per person), an Antiques Appraisal (March 21, $5 per item), an Easter Bunny event (April 4), a Salisbury Carousel outing (April 29, $10 per child), and Baseball-Softball Opening Day (April 14). The cash box will support petty cash operations for upcoming event logistics.
