NH NEWTON — Newton Zoning Board advances Merrimac Road subdivision variance to public hearing. The Zoning Board of Adjustment voted unanimously to schedule a March 18 public hearing for Land Bank Properties LLC's application, which seeks two variances for a two-lot subdivision at 11 Merrimac Road. Applicant Brett W.

Allard presented plans for Proposed Lot 9-1, which requires a frontage variance (141.82 feet versus 150 required) and a lot width variance (79.7 feet versus 125 required). Chairman Jack Kozec, Vice Chair John Silvia, Roger Hamel, and Barbara White voted unanimously, contingent on completion of the application package including a Building Inspector denial.
