NH NEWTON — Planning Board voted unanimously to continue asbestos removal company application hearing. The board moved the Femme Works Solutions hearing to October 13 after determining the applicant's submission was incomplete. The licensed asbestos removal contractor sought approval to operate a hub at 13 Elm Street with 15 employees, 15 box trucks expanding to 18, and three locked storage trailers.
Circuit Rider Jennifer Rowden recommended a full site plan with drainage and traffic details and noted the applicant must obtain a conditional use permit for the groundwater protection district. Multiple abutters expressed concerns that hazardous materials storage and heavy truck traffic would harm their residential neighborhood.
