Gale Library trustees approve revised card policy

NH NEWTON — Newton library board approves policy on minor records access. The Gale Library Trustees unanimously approved a revised Library Card Policy on January 21 to establish procedures for parental access to minor patron records under HB 273, with Director Michelle Baker reviewing implementation steps. The board also unanimously accepted the Treasurer's Report, the Library Director's Report, and donations of books and puzzles from patrons.
Annual reports are due to the town by January 29. Facilities issues include a broken flagpole, ongoing furnace concerns, and continued repair work on the parking lot light.
